In a touching gesture, Sarah Ferguson has provided fans with an update on the late II’s cherished corgis.

Following the Queen’s passing two years ago, these adorable pups found a new home with the Duchess of York, who was once married to .

The news comes as a comforting reminder of the Queen’s deep affection for her furry companions.

Queen Elizabeth had a remarkable bond with corgis throughout her life, owning around 30 of them during her reign.

Each dog had its own unique name and personality, reflecting the special place they held in her heart.

Among the last of her beloved pets were Sandy and Muke, who now reside with Sarah at the Royal Lodge.

Recently, the Duchess took to Instagram to share an endearing post featuring Sandy and Muke.

In celebration of International Dog Day, she expressed her love for the dogs and all furry friends, saying they would receive extra treats as a token of appreciation for the joy they bring into our lives.

It’s clear that these dogs continue to hold a significant place in the hearts of those who knew the Queen.

The late monarch’s corgi family included other notable names such as Willow, Dookie, Honey, Berry, and Linnet.

As followers scrolled through Sarah’s Instagram pictures, many expressed their delight at seeing the dogs thriving in their new environment.

Comments poured in, with one user saying, “They look so happy with you,” while another thanked Sarah for caring for the Queen’s beloved pets.

While Sandy and Muke seem to be flourishing now, Sarah revealed that the transition to their new home wasn’t always smooth sailing.

Initially, Sandy struggled to adjust to the Royal Lodge, prompting Sarah to take extra steps to ensure the dog’s comfort.

She shared her experience on “This Morning,” explaining how they kept the dogs separate at night to help them settle in.

To ease the adjustment process, Sarah sought assistance from dog trainer Graham Hall.

His expertise proved invaluable, and she noted that both dogs were gradually becoming more comfortable in their new surroundings.

“They’re settling in really well now,” she remarked, although she also mentioned that Muke still needed some time to adjust fully.

The bond between Sarah and the corgis appears to have grown stronger over the past year.

Their playful antics and happy demeanor reflect a newfound sense of security in their royal abode.
