Starting from March 23rd until Sunday, August 11th, the doors of this Aberdeenshire-based castle will be open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to experience its rich history.

Originally purchased in 1852 by Prince Albert for Queen Victoria, the estate has since been a cherished royal residence.
After deciding that the original structure was too small, Prince Albert commissioned the construction of a new castle, which was completed in 1856.
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip also found solace in the tranquil surroundings of Balmoral, with its expansive 500,000 acres of lush grounds.

Reports have surfaced that King Charles is considering transforming Balmoral Castle into a museum in honor of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth.
