Royal Family Prepares for Summer Break and School Move

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, accompanied by their three children, are gearing up for another summer break before Prince George, , and embark on a new school journey in September.

Following the conclusion of the academic year for Prince George and Princess Charlotte last month, the Cambridges have been relishing various recreational activities and excursions as a family unit of five.

A few weeks ago, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge opted to take their three children to the Isles of Scilly, where they commemorated George’s ninth birthday on the picturesque island of Tresco, owned by the Prince of Wales, during their two-week sojourn.

Prior to their impending relocation to Windsor, the Cambridges have sought solace away from the city life by spending quality time at Anmer Hall, an elegant residence nestled within the Queen’s Sandringham Estate, bestowed upon Kate and William as a wedding gift by Her Majesty.

Having previously resided at Anmer Hall before making the move to Kensington Palace, the family has one final retreat planned as the summer vacation period draws to a close.

According to The Telegraph’s Royal Correspondent Victoria Ward, Kate, William, George, Charlotte, and Louis are scheduled to spend some time at Balmoral, the Queen’s Scottish holiday abode, before transitioning to Adelaide Cottage.

Victoria Ward highlighted in her article for The Telegraph that since schools broke for summer in July, the Cambridges have been enjoying a holiday within the UK, cherishing moments at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

In the upcoming weeks, they are set to journey to Scotland for their customary summer respite with the Queen at Balmoral before settling into Adelaide Cottage in readiness for the new academic session.

Situated in Aberdeenshire, amidst the Scottish Highlands, Balmoral is reputed to be one of Her Majesty’s favored dwellings.

The Queen had ventured there earlier in the summer and is presently immersed in a 10-week stay in the rugged Scottish countryside.

Not only are the Cambridges slated to vacation with the Queen, but Her Majesty is purportedly a significant influence behind their choice to relocate to Windsor.

is understood to engage in frequent phone conversations with his grandmother, who transitioned Windsor Castle into her primary abode at the onset of the pandemic, several times a week.

The duo has harbored a desire to be in closer proximity to each other since the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh in 2021.

An insider disclosed to the Daily Mail that this factor has expedited their move to Berkshire this summer, emphasizing the void left by the late Duke of Edinburgh in their lives.

The source further elaborated that Prince William is vigilant in ensuring the Queen comprehends the rationale behind certain decisions, given his protective stance towards his grandmother.

With Her Majesty being 96 years old, she has gradually delegated more royal responsibilities to her son Prince Charles and Prince William, such as when the pair represented her at the state opening of Parliament a few months back.

Anticipating their relocation to Adelaide Cottage this summer, the Cambridges envision their children, Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (7), and Prince Louis (4), commencing their schooling nearby come September.
