During a recent visit to Wales, Prince William opened up about his daughter, Princess Charlotte, sharing insights into her favorite hobbies that might surprise the public.
The Prince of Wales made this revelation while engaging with locals in Llanelli, where he celebrated the rich tapestry of Welsh culture and sport.
On Tuesday, William kicked off his day by visiting Swiss Valley Community Primary School.
He met with students who were gearing up for the 2024 Yrd Eisteddfod, a week-long event dedicated to honoring the Welsh language and its vibrant culture.
Among the young learners was Ruby Davies, a ten-year-old who gained recognition earlier this year for her impressive performance in the Individual Recital Division at the Eisteddfod.
As he interacted with the students, William took a moment to praise Ruby’s remarkable talent.
He mentioned that his daughter shares a passion for performing arts, stating, “Charlotte loves her performing and dancing, so I’m going to show her your video when I get home.”
This personal touch highlighted the familial connection between the royal family and the local community.
Ruby, in a delightful gesture, presented the Prince with a book filled with postcards created by her classmates, along with friendship bracelets for his children.
The Prince responded warmly, expressing his gratitude: “That’s so sweet, William said to her.
Together, did you make them?
Did you construct them all at home and assemble them yourself?
Ruby, thank you very much.
You’ll see them about; they’ll be in heaven with those.”
The conversation continued as William reminisced about his own children, noting that his son, Louis, might try to snag all of Charlotte’s bracelets.
His playful tone brought a lightheartedness to the meeting, showing his genuine interest in the children’s creativity and efforts.
