Prince William and Kate’s three children made a grand entrance at the Christmas carol service held at Westminster Abbey today.
Prince George, aged 10, Princess Charlotte, aged 8, and Prince Louis, aged 5, stole the spotlight as they joined their parents for the festive event.
The trio appeared delighted to be part of the annual celebration, which was spearheaded by Mother Kate herself.
Sponsored by The Royal Foundation, the service aims to honor individuals who support families, infants, and young children within UK communities.
Emphasizing the significance of creating nurturing environments for both children and adults, the ceremony aligns with Kate’s impactful Shaping Us initiative.
A notable addition this year is a Christmas postbox outside the Abbey, where children can pen heartfelt notes for peers facing challenges during the holiday season.
Upon their arrival at the Abbey, the young trio from Wales eagerly deposited a note in the postbox.
Scheduled to commence at 7:45 pm on Christmas Eve, the service will be broadcasted on ITV1 and ITVX.
The evening promises captivating musical performances by renowned artists like Jacob Collier, Freya Writings, and James Bay.
Noteworthy highlights include a special duet by Beverley Knight and Adam Lambert, along with enchanting carol renditions by the esteemed Westminster Abbey Choir.
Distinguished speakers such as the Prince of Wales, Michael Ward, Emma Willis, Roman Kemp, and Jim Broadbent are set to deliver readings during the event.
Additionally, actress Leonie Elliott will recite a specially commissioned poem by Children’s Laureate Joseph Cowilho.
This year, Westminster Abbey will be adorned with festive greenery symbolizing the theme of family and children.
A group of twelve young carers from the Action for Children Young Carers Allowed Choir is slated to perform at the event, with the youngest member being just six years old.
