Former royal butler, Paul Burrell, has praised Prince William and Princess Kate as a power couple, dismissing Prince Harry‘s criticisms of them as mere jealousy.
Burrell commended the future King and Queen for their efforts in connecting with the people of the country, emphasizing that there is no valid reason to fault the couple.
Despite Harry and Meghan Markle‘s negative portrayal of their time within the royal family, William and Kate have refrained from directly responding to the numerous allegations made against them.
While they acknowledged the seriousness of the issues raised regarding race, they have chosen not to engage in public disputes.
In a recent interview with Slingo, Mr. Burrell expressed admiration for the exemplary conduct of Prince William and Princess Kate, describing them as a dynamic duo who are diligently preparing for their future roles.
He highlighted William’s commendable approach to his responsibilities and interactions with the public, asserting that any criticism directed towards the couple by Harry is unjustified and driven by petty jealousy.
Reports suggest that Prince Harry may be yearning to return to the UK, feeling unsettled in Los Angeles compared to Meghan, who is more accustomed to life in the city.
However, the royal family may not be enthusiastic about welcoming Harry back, especially if it means shouldering financial obligations on behalf of his family.
Ephraim Hardcastle, in the Daily Mail, speculated that Prince William, as the Prince of Wales, could face financial strain if he had to support Harry and Meghan upon their return to the UK.
According to Hardcastle, William’s current surplus from the Duchy of Cornwall, amounting to £24 million annually, would dwindle rapidly if he had to finance his brother’s family.
This financial burden could extend to covering their official duties, housing expenses, and the education costs of their children, Archie and Lilibet.
In his book, “Spare Harry Claims His Father,” it was revealed that King Charles had warned Harry about the financial constraints surrounding his marriage to Meghan in 2018.
Consequently, the prospect of supporting the Sussexes financially might overwhelm William, posing a significant challenge for the future king.
Despite speculations about their potential return to the UK, Harry and Meghan seem to be exploring options in the US, with reports indicating that they are casually searching for a new residence near the coastal region of Malibu.
The couple’s decision to stay in the US aligns with their ongoing pursuit of independence and privacy, as they navigate life outside the confines of royal obligations and expectations.
