Meghan’s Awkward Moment with Gary Barlow Unearthed

Meghan Markle found herself in an awkward situation after an exchange with Gary Barlow, as revealed on The Jonathan Ross Show.

Back in 2018, the band Take That performed at the Royalty Variety Show, where they had a chat with and Meghan before going on stage.

Prince Harry was engrossed in conversation with the band members and expressed amazement at the fact that the boy band had been together for 30 years.

During the encounter, Gary Barlow turned to the Duchess of Sussex and casually mentioned, “He’s been on one of our records.”

Meghan, unsure if he was joking, awkwardly touched her hair and let out a polite laugh in response.

Insisting on the truth, Mr. Barlow added, “We’re serious,” prompting Prince Harry to confirm the story by recalling, “In Jamaica, wasn’t it?”

Mr. Barlow affirmed, “That’s right.

He really is on there.”

Meghan appeared surprised and exclaimed, “Oh my goodness, you learn something new every day.”

While it remains uncertain if Prince Harry sang on a Take That track, he did play the tambourine on “Sing.”

This particular song, penned by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Gary Barlow, was performed by artists across the Commonwealth to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012.

The creation of the song involved Mr. Barlow visiting treetops in Kenya, where the Queen was staying when she received the news of her father’s passing.

The track was presented to the Queen in May 2012, with Mr. Barlow and Mr. Lloyd Webber gifting her a framed copy of the sheet music before performing it for her.

The song swiftly climbed the UK Singles Chart from number 11 to number 1 in its second week, marking Mr. Barlow’s first chart-topping single since his hit “Love Won’t Wait” in 1997.

Tonight on ITV, catch The Jonathan Ross Show at 10.05 pm, featuring actor Riz Ahmed, known for his role in the Oscar-winning film “Sound of Metal,” alongside Jeremy Clarkson and Stephen Merchant.

Gary Barlow, renowned for his success in the ’90s with Take That, experienced a tumultuous split from the band in 1996, notably due to tensions with Robbie Williams.

However, the group reunited a decade later to release their fourth studio album, “The Circus.”

Their album, recorded without Robbie Williams, was a hit, and in 2010, the Stoke-born singer rejoined the band for “Progress,” which became the fastest-selling album of the 21st century at that time.

Riding a wave of success, Take That found themselves mingling with A-listers and royalty.

, in a recent incident, was captured playfully imitating a chipmunk and pretending to be a cat during The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Ellen DeGeneres disclosed that it was Meghan’s request to wear an IFB (Interruptible Foldback), a discreet earpiece used to provide instructions.

The Duchess surprised fans by sharing a glimpse of her two-year-old son, , observing chickens in the family’s coop, previously seen in her interview with .

Archie was pictured holding a yellow basket, likely to assist in carrying eggs, while enjoying a moment with the birds.

Meghan also revealed how she, Harry, , and Jack Brooksbank savored one last incognito outing before their relationship became public knowledge.
