Renowned royal expert Richard Eaton revealed this development in his recent article for Mail Plus over the weekend.
In a tweet sharing the link to his report titled “Meghan’s Biographer Faces Loss of His Firm,” Eaton highlighted Scobie’s preoccupation with painting the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Caribbean tour as a failure, neglecting his own business affairs in the process.
It has come to light that the author of Finding Freedom, focusing on Prince Harry and Meghan, is currently facing legal action due to the failure to submit mandatory financial documentation.
The publishing business is at risk of compulsory strike-off for not filing any accounts since 2019, potentially incurring a fine of £1,500 for overdue accounts exceeding six months, as per Companies House regulations.
Should the firm be struck off, all its assets could be seized by the government, as outlined in the report.
