During her recent trip to the US for Prince William‘s Earthshot Prize Awards, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, managed to squeeze in a secret meeting with her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, and his children, Lilibet and Archie.
Despite a busy schedule, Kate reportedly made it a priority to see Prince Harry and spend time with her niece and nephew, as revealed by IBT citing a close source.
The source disclosed that Kate was eager to connect with Harry and his children, regardless of past tensions with Meghan and Harry.
As per reports, Kate reached out to Prince Harry to arrange the discreet rendezvous, and Prince Harry readily agreed to the meeting, emphasizing his affection for Kate and his belief that his children should have a relationship with her.
The clandestine meeting is said to have taken place in New York, away from the prying eyes of the public and media scrutiny.
Meanwhile, a controversial video circulating on social media questions the existence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s daughter, Lilibet Diana.
The video casts doubt on the legitimacy of Lilibet’s birth, alleging that there is no official documentation, such as a birth certificate, to confirm her existence.
However, People magazine reported that Lilibet was indeed born on June 4th, 2021, at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, near Meghan and Harry’s residence in Montecito, California.
The birth certificate, obtained by TMZ, reveals details of Lilibet’s birth, with the Duke of Sussex listed as one parent and Rachel Meghan Markle as the other.
Meghan and Harry have been vigilant about shielding their children from the public eye to safeguard their privacy.
In a bid to maintain their children’s privacy, the couple has refrained from exposing their faces to the paparazzi, taking legal action against unauthorized photography in the past.
In another royal development, Queen Elizabeth reportedly met her great-granddaughter Lilibet during the Jubilee celebrations in the UK in June 2022.
However, tensions within the royal family seem to persist as King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla chose not to invite Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to attend the Princess of Wales’ carol service.
Instead, the new King and Queen Consort will join Kate for her annual carol service at Westminster Abbey on the same day as the airing of Harry and Meghan’s documentary.
The decision to exclude the Sussexes from the carol service appears to be a deliberate move, considering the ongoing rift between the royal family and the California-based couple.
Harry and Meghan’s highly anticipated docuseries, valued at £88 million, is scheduled for release on December 15th, adding fuel to the already simmering tensions between the two parties.
The latest trailer for the Netflix documentary featuring the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was released recently, hinting at more revelations to come.
