Important Lesson Kate Middleton Is Instilling in Her Children at Home

Amidst their shared interests, and have a notable difference when it comes to hobbies.

The Duchess of Cambridge believes there is a crucial lesson for their three children to learn and appreciate.

Beyond her royal obligations, as a devoted mother of three, Kate bears numerous responsibilities within the household.

Among her various pastimes, she emphasizes the significance of a particular domestic activity for herself and the couple’s offspring.

Prince William and Kate, both aged 41, take pleasure in engaging in sports activities, either together or individually.

Skiing, cycling, and playing tennis are among the pursuits they enjoy as a couple.

Kate, who serves as a patron for The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, recently shared on Mike Tindall’s podcast, “Taking to the Good, the Bad, and the Rugby,” that she has developed a passion for cold water swimming.

Apart from sports, the Duchess finds joy in photography, gardening, and participating in children’s charity endeavors.

However, a notable point of divergence between her and William is their approach to cooking.

While Kate delights in cooking and frequently involves the children in culinary activities at home, her husband has openly acknowledged his lack of prowess in the kitchen.

During an official engagement in 2019, Kate disclosed her routine of cooking with her children, a practice she deems quite ordinary despite her future position as Queen.

There is a specific meal that holds a special place in Prince William’s heart, which Kate often prepares for him – roasted chicken.

Royal author Katie Nicholl mentioned in 2012 that Kate indulges in preparing William’s favorite supper, roast chicken, in the evenings, a ritual they cherish as the epitome of a perfect night.

Kate has professed her fondness for spicy curry but has had to adjust her cooking technique due to William’s intolerance to excessive spice.

Speaking previously on BBC Radio 1, the Duchess revealed, “I like the spice, so I have to sort of cook the curry and then add the spice, extra spice at the end, once his portion is served up.”

This adaptation reflects Kate’s consideration for her husband’s preferences in culinary matters.

Furthermore, she has passed on her love for cooking to their children, encouraging them to participate in meal preparation and develop a taste for wholesome foods.

In a conversation with Mary Berry, Kate shared that their three children take pleasure in consuming nutritious greens.
