Prince Harry, also known as the Duke of Sussex, recently made a surprise call to veterans participating in a charity walking event called the Grenadier Walk of Oman.
The purpose of the exhibition was to raise funds for individuals who have served in the armed forces.
The event involved six former soldiers, all of whom had either mental or physical injuries, walking 300km across the UK in stages.
The journey began in Benefan, Wales, and concluded at the Anglo-Omani Society in central London.
Organized by Walking with the Wounded, the trek was initially planned to continue through the Omani desert but was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite the setback, Prince Harry, who serves as the patron of Walking with the Wounded, reached out to the team from his residence in Santa Barbara, offering words of encouragement as they approached the finish line.
He emphasized the importance of cherishing the experience and using it as a source of strength during challenging times.
