In the wake of Meghan Markle‘s recent interview, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, has stepped into the limelight by sharing a compelling new message.
Over the weekend, the Duchess took to social media to mark World Children’s Day, a global event aimed at fostering unity among children and highlighting issues related to children’s well-being.
On the Twitter account shared by Kate and her husband Prince William, a poignant message was posted emphasizing the importance of investing in children for the betterment of society’s future health and happiness.
Accompanying the message was a photo of Kate captured during her visit to the Natural History Museum’s Wildlife Garden earlier this year.
This move by the Duchess comes shortly after Meghan Markle’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, her second chat show interview since stepping away from the Royal Family.
Unlike the serious tone of her previous interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan’s time on The Ellen Show was more lighthearted, focusing on her children’s Halloween costumes, her daughter Lilibet‘s teething phase, and even indulging in a playful sketch involving a baby’s bottle.
Meghan Markle’s interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show premiered in the US on CBS on November 18, with plans for it to air on ITV2 in the UK within the following week.
During her appearance, Meghan engaged in a prank orchestrated by DeGeneres, where she interacted with market vendors while being fed instructions through an earpiece.
From quirky actions like holding a crystal to her face to playfully mentioning Prince Harry‘s love for hot sauce, the segment provided a light-hearted moment for viewers.
Reacting to this collaboration, Piers Morgan shared his thoughts in a column for the Daily Mail, expressing his disdain for what he described as a “comically cringeworthy collision” between Meghan Markle and Ellen DeGeneres.
Morgan went on to highlight polling data from Newsweek, revealing that Meghan is one of the least favored members of the UK royal family, alongside Prince Andrew.
According to the survey, 51% of UK adults view Meghan negatively, giving her a net approval rating of minus 24%, contrasting sharply with Prince Harry’s more balanced approval ratings.
In comparison, Prince William and Kate Middleton continue to maintain a positive standing with the British public, with significantly higher approval ratings than Meghan Markle.
Despite the polarizing opinions surrounding the royal family members, Kate’s recent gesture towards World Children’s Day has garnered attention and shifted focus back onto her philanthropic efforts.
As the royal drama continues to unfold, the public’s perception of the various family members remains a topic of fascination and debate.
