Royal biographer Angela Levin has unleashed a fierce critique of Meghan Markle following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s official tour of Nigeria.
Levin, speaking candidly on GB News, didn’t hold back in her assessment, labeling the entire visit as disingenuous and disappointing.
Her comments were laced with specific examples that highlighted what she deemed inappropriate behavior from the duchess.
At the forefront of Levin’s criticism was Meghan’s choice of attire during their visit to Lightway Academy, a religious school.
Levin argued that Meghan’s outfit was not only unsuitable but also showed a lack of respect for cultural norms and the solemnity of the occasion.
She pointed out that the dress lacked adequate coverage, suggesting that Meghan’s fashion choices reflected a broader insensitivity to the local customs.
But it wasn’t just the clothing that raised eyebrows.
Levin went on to recount an incident where Meghan allegedly exhibited rudeness towards both a teacher and students at the academy.
According to Levin, Meghan seemed disengaged and uninterested during a conversation with a teacher who was trying to engage with two polite young students.
Instead of showing genuine interest, Levin claims that Meghan appeared to be looking around dismissively, eventually pulling Prince Harry away to chase more flattering photo opportunities.
This portrayal of Meghan paints a picture of someone more focused on crafting a public persona rather than engaging meaningfully with those she was there to represent.
Levin’s remarks suggest that Meghan’s actions during the tour were less about connection and more about self-promotion.
Levin’s critiques didn’t stop with the Nigerian tour.
She also turned her attention to Prince Harry’s recent trip to the UK for the Invictus Games.
According to Levin, insiders have described the event as turning into the “Meghan Markle Show,” even in her absence.
This observation hints at a growing perception that Harry’s public appearances are increasingly overshadowed by the need to present Meghan favorably, regardless of the situation.
Additionally, Levin highlighted the absence of a meeting between Prince Harry and King Charles during Harry’s brief UK visit.
She pointed out that Buckingham Palace had stated no such meeting had been requested, which Levin interpreted as a sign of poor communication from Harry’s side.
She speculated that the King’s busy schedule, filled with engagements including a meeting with the Prime Minister, might have played a role in this missed opportunity.
However, Levin suggested that perhaps the King was avoiding a potentially awkward confrontation with Harry.
She implied that a more proactive approach from Harry could have led to a different outcome, hinting at a pattern of behavior that continues to fuel negative perceptions of the Sussexes.
