**Meghan Markle Faces Backlash Over Alleged Collaboration with Authors: Royal Drama Unfolds**

Royal sources have revealed concerns within the palace regarding and ‘s potential involvement in a sympathetic biography about them, which could come to light in court proceedings.

The ongoing case against Associated Newspapers, over the publication of a letter Meghan wrote to her father, has sparked speculations about what more might be unveiled from the book they reportedly had a hand in shaping.

This week, Meghan admitted to misleading a British court by forgetting that she had provided briefing material to her then-press secretary, Jason Gnauff, to be shared with the authors of “Finding Freedom,” Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durant.

A source close to the royal family expressed frustration over the situation, stating that many had cautioned against pursuing the legal battle, which has now resulted in revelations that challenge Meghan and Harry’s previous denials of collaboration with the book’s authors.

Prior to taking legal action, the couple was advised on the potential consequences, but they opted to enlist the services of Shillings, a firm known for its aggressive representation of high-profile clients.

Despite their initial denial of involvement, Gnauff confirmed providing briefing points from Meghan and detailed communication from Prince Harry to guide the authors on specific aspects to focus on in the biography.

In newly disclosed text messages, Meghan explained that she wrote the letter to her father to shield Harry from criticism within the royal family, particularly from his father, Prince Charles.

Sources close to Charles, however, disputed these claims, asserting that while he sympathized with the situation, he did not dictate any specific actions to Harry or Meghan.

Acknowledging the information shared by Gnauff, Meghan issued a statement apologizing for not recalling the extent of her exchanges with him and emphasizing that she did not intend to mislead the court or the defendant.

Her lawsuit against Associated Newspapers stemmed from the unauthorized publication of the private letter to her father, which she argued infringed upon her privacy and copyright.

Following a summary judgment in Meghan’s favor, Associated Newspapers is appealing the decision and has presented new evidence from Gnauff during the ongoing legal battle.

The London Court of Appeal is deliberating on the case, with Senior Judge Geoffrey Bow indicating that a thorough assessment of the arguments will be conducted before reaching a verdict.

The unfolding drama surrounding Meghan’s legal battles and alleged collaboration with authors continues to captivate royal watchers and legal experts alike.
