Meghan Rowney faced a scolding from the Queen herself following a reported tiara tantrum, detailed in a new book.
The Duchess of Sussex’s alleged prima donna behavior led to the Queen stepping in and informing Prince Harry that Meghan would wear the tiara chosen by Her Majesty.
The revelation of the Queen’s blunt response to Meghan’s tantrum comes from royal expert Andrew Morton in his latest book, “Meghan, a Hollywood Princess.”
In six additional chapters added to the book originally published in 2018, Morton recounts how Meghan’s behavior prior to her wedding drew criticism from the Queen.
According to Morton, a report by The Times highlighted Meghan’s frustration over a tiara shortly before her wedding.
In November 2018, just after the couple’s return from a successful tour, Meghan expressed displeasure as her desired tiara was unavailable.
This led to a direct rebuke from the Queen, asserting that Meghan would wear the tiara chosen for her.
Morton’s bombshell revelations also touch on Prince Harry’s reaction to Meghan’s disappointment.
The Queen’s trusted dresser, Angela Kelly, responsible for the royal jewelry, reportedly explained the security protocols necessary to access the tiara.
Prince Harry, however, stood by Meghan’s side, insisting that she should have what she desires.
This stance did not bode well for Meghan in the eyes of the royal family.
The book also delves into claims that the Sussexes felt compelled to leave due to alleged bullying from Prince William.
Despite strong denials of these accusations, both brothers expressed deep unhappiness over the bullying claims.

However, it is unlikely that they will bring their baby daughter, Lilibet, for a christening in the UK.
