Chelsea Davy Sues Meghan for Unauthorized Use of Photos and Trailer

Chelsea Davy has taken legal action against Meghan Markle for using her photos and trailer without permission.

The controversial inclusion of one of the pictures in the teaser for the Harry and Meghan docuseries, released last week, has sparked outrage.

The teaser showcases never-before-seen images of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, with a particular focus on Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend, Chelsea Davy.

The minute-long teaser kicks off with personal black and white photos of the royal couple, as Prince Harry responds to an interviewer’s question about the documentary.

Highlighting the theme of privacy, the trailer features a snapshot from the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, capturing the Prince and Princess of Wales alongside the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Prince Harry emphasizes his commitment to protecting his family, with a poignant shot of Meghan wiping away tears.

The teaser continues to unveil a series of images, ranging from paparazzi shots to intimate moments of the royal couple.

Notably, a picture of Harry shielding his face from camera flashes stands out.

Originally taken in 2007 at Heathrow airport, the image featured Chelsea Davy, Harry’s former flame, who was edited out by Netflix for the trailer’s release.

Chelsea Davy and Prince Harry shared an on-and-off relationship from 2004 to 2011, characterized by mutual respect and friendship.

Despite their split, Chelsea remained a part of Harry’s life and was even present at the royal wedding in May 2018.

The decision to feature a cropped picture of Harry and Chelsea in a documentary centered on his and Meghan’s journey has divided opinions among viewers.

Social media reactions have been mixed, with body language expert Jesus Enrique Rosas expressing disbelief at the inclusion of the edited photo.

Another user, AtHusham, found humor in the situation, highlighting the unexpected turn of events in the teaser.

In a separate development, Meghan Markle’s past revelations about royal engagements have resurfaced in a recent book by royal author Valentin Lowe.

Lowe’s book, “Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown,” sheds light on Meghan’s reaction to not being paid for her royal duties during a tour of Australia with Prince Harry in 2018.

Despite enjoying public attention and praise for her informal approach to engagements, Meghan reportedly expressed surprise at the lack of financial compensation.

Her interactions with locals, such as baking banana bread for a farming family and inspiring young aboriginal students, garnered positive feedback.

However, behind the scenes, Meghan’s perspective on the traditional royal duties differed.

According to unnamed sources cited by Lowe, Meghan questioned the purpose of extensive walkabouts and interactions with strangers, remarking on the absence of payment for her efforts.

The revelation adds a new layer to Meghan’s experiences within the royal family, showcasing the complexities of her transition into royal life.
