The office deemed the wording in the application too vague, suggesting that Markle needs to specify what exactly she’s trying to trademark.

This raises questions about the caliber of legal representation she’s secured.

Such fundamental mistakes are rarely seen in high-profile applications.

Witherspoon pointed out that the attorney handling Markle’s case is far from inexperienced.

She is a partner in a well-known firm with years of experience.

Yet, the numerous oversights in the application suggest a lack of attention to detail that is simply shocking for someone in her position.

Another red flag was the multiple class application requirements, which indicated that Markle’s application spanned more than one international class.

The trademark office requires applicants to list their goods in consecutive numerical order and pay appropriate fees for each class.

This oversight further complicates her situation and could delay the approval process significantly.

And let’s not forget the fifth issue—the unsigned application.

The trademark office clearly stated that the application wasn’t properly verified without a signature.
