Royal Title Drama Unfolds: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Accused of Influencing King Charles III’s Decision

Prince Harry and find themselves embroiled in controversy once again, this time over the royal titles of their children.

The couple’s daughter, Princess Diana, was recently christened in a private ceremony at their California residence.

In a surprising twist, it was revealed that Harry and Meghan have opted to bestow royal titles upon their offspring.

A spokesperson for the Sussexes confirmed the christening and disclosed that their children, three-year-old and one-year-old Lilibet, now hold the titles of Prince and Princess.

However, allegations have surfaced suggesting that the couple may have exerted undue influence on III in relation to the recognition of their children’s royal status.

Christopher Anderson, the author of The King, The Life of Charles III, has accused and Meghan Markle of effectively dictating the King’s decision regarding their children’s titles.

He insinuated that palace aides may have also played a role in this contentious situation.

According to Christopher, the palace courtiers, who oversee royal affairs, were caught off guard by the announcement and were less than pleased about the need to swiftly update official records.

Furthermore, Christopher criticized the Sussexes for prioritizing the royal treatment of Archie and Lilibet despite their diminished roles within the royal family and their physical distance from the monarchy.

The couple’s penchant for stirring up controversy with the palace was not lost on him.

On the flip side, royal officials have confirmed that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will now be the official titles for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s young children.

Ingrid Seward, a renowned royal expert and editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, highlighted the stark contrast between the formal announcement made by King Charles III regarding his brother’s title and the more low-key approach taken by Harry and Meghan.

King Charles’s grand proclamation conferring the Dukedom of Edinburgh upon was a momentous occasion, steeped in tradition and formality.

In contrast, Harry and Meghan chose a more subdued method to reveal their children’s royal titles, opting for a simple statement from their spokesperson following Lilibet’s christening in Los Angeles.

Ingrid noted the curious delay in announcing Archie and Lilibet’s titles, speculating that the Sussexes may have been waiting for Buckingham Palace to make the first move.

Despite being eligible for royal titles since the passing of their great-grandmother, II, the couple had refrained from making the announcement until now.

The ongoing saga surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interactions with the royal family continues to captivate audiences worldwide.

As the dust settles on this latest development, questions linger about the true extent of the couple’s influence on matters of royal protocol and tradition.
