Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, is overjoyed as her beloved granddaughter, Sienna, temporarily moves into the Royal Lodge.
In a heartwarming revelation on her podcast, Tea Talks with the Duchess and Sarah, Fergie shared that she has been looking after two-year-old Sienna while her parents, Princess Beatrice and husband Mopeli Motsi, are away.
The 63-year-old grandmother affectionately known as Fergie, expressed her delight at the opportunity to spend quality time with her granddaughter, describing the experience as “really fun.”
During the podcast, Sarah Ferguson fondly described Sienna as a delightful little girl who constantly seeks out playtime with her.
She shared how Sienna eagerly approaches her, pulling at her skirt, trying on her shoes, and gleefully splashing in puddles.
The Duchess humorously noted that Sienna now holds the reins, asserting her control over both granny and grandpa with her playful antics.
While Sarah did not disclose the exact whereabouts of Beatrice and Eduardo during their absence, she mentioned their return to celebrate Beatrice’s birthday.
Sarah revealed that they had been busy preparing for the festivities, blowing up balloons and baking cakes to mark the special occasion.
Despite her divorce from Prince Andrew, Sarah continues to reside with him at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, where she enjoys precious moments with her grandchildren.
In addition to Sienna, Sarah Ferguson is a doting grandmother to Princess Eugenie‘s children, August and Ernest.
Following the arrival of baby Ernest earlier this year, Sarah expressed her adoration for her new grandson on her podcast.
She affectionately described him as a sweet little boy and shared the touching gesture of naming him Ernest Ronnie, after her father Ronald.
Sarah emotionally recounted how the gesture moved her to tears, emphasizing the significance of the name choice for the couple.
The Duchess of York’s close bond with her grandchildren shines through in her heartfelt interactions with them, showcasing her deep love and joy in being a grandmother.
