Royal Family Christmas Plans Revealed

Mike Tindall smoothly dodged a tricky question about as he opted not to delve into potential tensions within the royal household during the holiday season.

Despite his extensive experience celebrating Christmas with the royal family over his 11-year marriage to Zara Tindall, daughter of , Mike has always maintained a discreet stance regarding the dynamics of being connected to one of the world’s most renowned families.

Nevertheless, this didn’t deter one of his colleagues from playfully inquiring about Harry following the release of his and Meghan’s impactful Netflix documentary.

In the latest festive episode of his podcast, The Good, The Bad, and The Rugby, Mike faced a query about the royal family’s Christmas festivities for the year.

Host Alex Payne probed, “Is it going to be very different this year for you lot?”

Mike candidly responded, “Yeah, it probably will be.

I don’t really know.

I’m quite looking forward to it.”

Despite a brief awkward pause, where Mike appeared reluctant to delve further into the topic, Alex attempted to extract more insights from his co-host.

“It’s been an extraordinary year for you,” he continued.

“Obviously, there’s a lot of change,” Mike remarked.

The conversation took a light-hearted turn when Mike’s rugby player companion, James Haskell, interjected, mentioning ‘s upcoming inaugural Christmas speech on television.

Acknowledging the series of firsts this year, Mike ambiguously replied, “Yeah, there’s a lot of firsts.”

James humorously proposed a game involving Prince Harry, but Mike didn’t seem amused, casting a serious glance at James.

Refocusing on the discussion, Mike reminisced about past experiences, alluding to his time in the jungle, before Alex humorously remarked on his agility post-retirement.

The royal family is gearing up to celebrate Christmas at Sandringham for the first time in three years under the hosting of King Charles and Queen Consort .

Mike had previously shed light on the unconventional traditions observed during Christmas within the royal household.

In a podcast episode from 2019, he disclosed that approximately 70 guests attended his last royal Christmas lunch, leading to a separate dining arrangement for the children, including and Kate’s offspring – Prince George, , and , alongside Mike and Zara’s children – Mia, Lena, and Lucas.
