Princess Eugenie: A Role Model for Lady Louise Windsor?

In the ever-evolving landscape of royal family dynamics, appears to be setting a compelling example for her younger cousin, Lady Louise Windsor.

According to public relations specialist Lynne Carrott, if Princess Eugenie makes any significant life choices, it’s likely that Lady Louise will follow suit.

This insight sheds light on how family ties can influence personal decisions, especially within the context of the royal family.

Carrott believes that Lady Louise could greatly benefit from Eugenie’s independence.

Currently, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have established a life that straddles both Portugal and the UK due to Jack’s work in real estate development.

If Lady Louise chooses to emulate her cousin and relocate abroad, she would be following a path that has proven successful for Eugenie.

Describing Lady Louise as wise and practical, Carrott noted that she has managed to stay out of the public eye while focusing on her personal and professional growth.

This approach allows her to escape the intense scrutiny that often accompanies royal status.

In Carrott’s view, Lady Louise is carving out her own identity, much like other royals who have sought opportunities overseas.

For instance, after completing her studies, Princess Eugenie spent time working in New York City, a move that showcased her desire for independence.

Presently, she and Jack are raising their two young children, August and Ernest, between the two countries.

As they navigate parenthood, it remains to be seen how their lifestyle may change once their boys are old enough for school.

Last year, Eugenie shared her thoughts on living abroad during an appearance on the “Table Manners” podcast.

She expressed her appreciation for the freedom that comes with living in Portugal, stating that she could run errands without worrying about public perception.

“I can go to the grocery with my hair piled on my head and still not mind at all,” she remarked, highlighting the relaxed atmosphere that she cherishes.

Meanwhile, Lady Louise, now 20, is pursuing her studies at the University of St Andrews.

Unlike many royal family members, she has been raised largely away from the spotlight and has opted not to use a princess title.

This decision grants her the flexibility to forge her own path, and speculation continues about whether she might eventually take on a role within the royal family.

Duchess Sophie, Lady Louise’s mother, has emphasized the importance of work ethic in her children’s upbringing.

She has openly stated that both Louise and her brother, James, Earl of Wessex, are expected to seek employment in their futures.

“We try to bring them up with the awareness that they will very certainly need to work for a living,” Duchess Sophie told The Times.

Interestingly, while Lady Louise is legally entitled to the title of Her Royal Highness, she has chosen to forgo it.

Her mother noted that this choice aligns with her expectations for Louise to pursue a career outside the royal sphere.

“Therefore, we decided not to utilize HR titles,” Duchess Sophie explained, emphasizing the family’s intention to foster independence.
