Princess Charlotte’s Impatience Shines at Trooping the Colour

Last year’s Trooping the Colour celebration brought a delightful moment to light when , brimming with excitement, sought comfort from Duchess Sophie.

As the royal family assembled on the iconic Buckingham Palace balcony to celebrate the monarch’s official birthday, the young princess’s impatience was palpable.

Accompanied by her parents, and Queen , as well as her brothers Prince George and , Charlotte’s eagerness was hard to miss.

During the Horse Guards Parade service, Charlotte was spotted chatting animatedly with Duchess Sophie.

An expert in lip-reading later revealed their exchange, adding a charming layer to the day’s festivities.

According to Jeremy Freeman, who shared insights with the Daily Star, Charlotte asked her great-aunt, “Sophie, how long will it be?” To which Duchess Sophie responded succinctly, “I think it’s now.” This small interaction showcased the warmth and connection within the royal family.

On that special day, Charlotte wore a striking outfit featuring her 89-pound Papua New Guinea sienna cream leather shoes, perfectly paired with a red and white sailor ensemble.

Duchess Sophie complemented her look with a Bula London Yavi meaty dress and a stunning headpiece, a staple accessory for royal occasions.

The fashion choices of both royals drew attention, but it was Charlotte’s youthful exuberance that truly stole the show.

Looking ahead, however, this year’s Trooping the Colour, scheduled for June 15, might have a different vibe.

Following the recent announcement of general election results, the royal family has had to adjust their plans, postponing or rescheduling several engagements.

With the general election set for July 4, the royals are treading carefully, avoiding any events that could be perceived as politically charged.

Despite the uncertainty, royal analyst Richard Fitzwilliams remains optimistic about the event proceeding.

He expressed confidence that , serving as Colonel of the Welsh Guards, would attend.

However, the situation is less clear for Catherine, the Princess of Wales.

Due to her ongoing cancer treatment, she has been keeping a low profile and has requested privacy for herself and her family during this challenging time.

While Prince George enjoyed a day out with his father at the FA Cup final last weekend, there are doubts about whether he and his siblings will join the Trooping celebration this year.
