Chef Holm, who had crafted the official lamb dish for the King’s coronation scheduled for May 2023, shared a jovial reunion with Charles at the event.
Recalling their last meeting, Holm humorously remarked to the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden, “I hadn’t seen the King in a couple of years.
I said, ‘Hi sir, you don’t remember me, but the last time we met we both had hair, and you still have yours.’”
This playful jest sent the King into fits of laughter, prompting a swift response from his concerned bodyguard to ensure his well-being.
