The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thrilled royal enthusiasts on Friday by unveiling a previously unseen image.

Posted on the couple’s official Twitter account, the photo captures Kate and William seated side by side in the back of a car, holding hands and smiling radiantly at the camera.

This endearing snapshot was taken during Kate and William’s attendance at the London premiere of the latest James Bond film in September.

Accompanying the post was a message of goodwill for 2022, extending warm wishes for a happy new year.

In the image, William looks impeccable in a black tuxedo with a bow tie, while Kate dazzles in an embellished gold cape dress.

In this intimate moment frozen in time, the couple exude joy as Kate leans gently towards William, clasping his left hand.

Looking ahead, the royal family is gearing up for an eventful 2022, with the Queen set to mark her platinum jubilee at the age of 95.

Kate and William opted for a more low-key Christmas this year, choosing to stay in Norfolk instead of going to Sandringham.

They celebrated the festive season with some members of the Middleton family.

During the holidays, Kate hosted a community carols service named Royal Carols Together at Christmas, broadcasted on December 24.

Surprising viewers, the Duchess showcased her musical talent by playing the piano and joining pop star Tom Walker for a special performance.

Kate, a mother of three, holds grade three piano and grade five theory qualifications.

In her speech during the service, Kate expressed gratitude to the exceptional individuals who have supported their communities, especially during the challenging times of the pandemic.

She acknowledged, “We wanted to say a huge thank you to all those amazing people out there who have supported their communities.

We also wanted to recognize those whose struggles perhaps have been less visible too.”

As the Queen approaches her 96th birthday and prepares to celebrate seven decades on the throne, Buckingham Palace confirmed a series of events from Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5, to honor her reign.

Kate will also mark a personal milestone in 2022 as she turns 48 on Sunday, January 9, typically spending her birthdays in private with Prince William and their children – Prince George, , and .
